Peruvians in the World: Juan Joya Cordero in 1966 Uruguay Peñarol
Juan Joya Cordero played for Alianza Lima in the mid 50's and after a quick stay for River Plate of Argentina , he joined the team of Uruguay Peñarol where he plays for about 10 years winning two Libertadores Cups, two Super Cups and a South American. Joya Cordero aurinegro box idol who was called "Black on Eleven." Fast forward and very goal, played sparingly for the national team being remembered his performance in 1959 at the South American who joined one of the best Peruvian football front near Miguel Loayza, Oscar Gómez Sánchez, Juan Alberto Seminar and Terry.
