eolic generator: A wind-powered building in Mar del Plata / Argentina: A building with energy eolic in Mar del Plata

In times like these, it is interesting to see proposals like the one I read the other
day
Gizmodo, where they presented a modular turbines for all types of buildings called Architectural Wind
, and produced by AeroVironment . Thanks to them, the building can generate its own energy, and maintain its image with special designs as concerned.
These units, which are placed in groups, using low-speed turbines to catch a breeze that runs along the walls of tall buildings. In this way, companies may work in part by the energy generated by

them. Finally, an alternative, though still in test mode and limited to those places where the project is viable, it is always a hope and a little step in the struggle to make more sustainable consumption, especially now that the oil crisis

is becoming increasingly clear.

Architectural Wind, wind energy for buildings / Architectural Wind, wind energy for buildings. Turbine

is not very common to see a show like the one I teach in this post. This is a windmill located in Denmark, and fell no ray.

All turbines are called connection speed, which is about 3 m / s. They also have a cutting speed, which is about 25 m / s. The power is usually controlled by changing the "step" of the helix, which is nothing but change the angle of attack relative to the air. The effect is quite similar to change gear in our car (although in this we have only five or six gears default.) The video shows what happens when the brake generator does not work if the cutting speed is exceeded. Stating that the cutting speed is not only based on what is referred to mechanical problems but also to a decrease in performance.

Enercon Made by the E-126 is a prototype whose tower is 135 meters high and its top is installed a rotor diameter of 126 meters. The E-126 is not only the largest to reach high winds, rapid and constant, but the blades have been redesigned with respect to the previous version (E-112) to provide less drag.
Even so, the turbine is able to produce six megawatts of electricity, which is enough electricity to power 5,000 houses with four people each. The E-126 is installed near the German city of Emden. All details of this megaturbina find it in this PDF
