A wind turbine for home: The Energy Ball

Although there have always been doubts about the true efficiency of small-scale wind turbines, especially for urban areas that has not stopped the developers of these turbines stop working. A good example is the spherical wind turbine silent.

The company claims that the V200 can provide up to 50% of the electricity needs of a normal house, while the v100 has to be seen as an extra turbine to other different sources of energy. Both turbines can begin producing energy from wind of 3 m / s, and withstand winds of up to 40 m / s.

price v100 wind turbine is about $ 4600, while the v200 for $ 8.100. It says these turbines can be mounted on the ceiling in about six hours between two people.
